Sales Manager – Greece

Our client, a well-established European company of food and other FMCG products, wishes to hire a Sales Manager in Greece.

Reporting to the Country Manager, Sales Manager will oversee the sales operation of the company in the Greek mass market.

Main Responsibilities:
Drives profitable growth for brands /products, consistent with the company strategy.
Leads the process of constant improvement striving to be among the best brand builder within the industry.
Takes decisions for the right selection of the most promising potential partners and initiates the appropriate introduction and communication process.
Directs a 15-members sales team, sets targets and drives team’s performance.
Prepares proposals and negotiates terms of cooperation.
Participates in the negotiating process with Key Accounts in Greece.
Responsible for ensuring that commercial targets are agreed and achieved. These will include but not limited to, market share, growth, income, margin.
Interfaces with suppliers, governmental institutions, and other stakeholders.
Oversees planning and budgeting for defined areas.
Participates in identifying and implementing business opportunities in the B2B segment.
Manages sales pipeline and coordinates with marketing, technical and support teams.
Leads business development and business sales segment through the development and execution of an aggressive business plan and strategy.
Reviews and validates sales offers and agreements with key-clients.

Experience in FMCG sales will be considered as a big advantage.
University degree in Economics, Commerce, International trade or related.
Fluent knowledge of ENGLISH language. A second language will be considered a
Very good communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Very good computer literacy.
Result / objective driven.
